Seasonal Eating by Month: December

Gah! It’s CHRISTMAS! One of the best times of the year ey? It’s so exciting. We hope all your Christmas shopping is going well… if you’ve started that is (haha). December can feel like one big mad rush at times. What with all the tasks to complete at work before your time off. Then there’s all the cheeky office Christmas parties and get-togethers with friends to enjoy. Then all the presents to buy and Christmas cooking to plan for. But don’t worry, it’s all very doable. Remember to enjoy every moment and treat yourself as much as you’ll be treating others this month – you deserve it.

But there is so many enticing and delicious meat-free options to enjoy. So tasty that a meat-free Christmas will become something you’ll look forward to next year.

December is the perfect time to enjoy fresh chestnuts, a wide range of root vegetables, cabbage and pumpkin. And what’s Christmas without some brussels sprouts? Not forgetting all the jewel-bright pomegranates, cranberry and sweet, juicy clementines that’ll bring zing to the party!
